Multi-lane tunnel under Karnafuly River
The Karnaphuli Tunnel is Bangladesh’s first-ever underwater tunnel, connecting the city of Chittagong with the southern banks of the Karnaphuli River. The tunnel is 3.4 kilometers long and consists of two parallel tubes, each with two lanes for vehicles.
